Mt.P.A.S is not an official Astronomical Society in any way !! . The name Mt.P.A.S developed out of a long running joke between a group of friends . Who have just happened to have done (and continue to do) a lot of their , very part-time , amateur observing and astrophotography , in the beautiful Mount Pleasant area , Adelaide hills , South Australia. We have been active for about 9years.
local golf courses can come in handy when your usual dark site is fogged out or too windy.......

....that aint a two tone scope.......thats ice that has formed as the mercury plunged . No trouble for the E.I.T.S newtonian ,as it continued to perform beautifully.
